Personal Taste

Also known as 개인의 취향 Kaeinui Chwihyang.

The third and last drama to premier on 31 March 2010, on MBC, Wednesdays and Thursdays 21:55.

This drama stars Son Ye Jin 손예진, Lee Min Ho 이민호, and Kim Ji Suk 김지석.

This is actually a novel, but it is only available in Korean. However, Javabeans is doing a general review on it, here (scroll down until you see the title ‘Personal Taste the novel’), which I have read, and it is quite fun and entertaining. The drama differs in some way from the book though.

Jeon Jin Ho (Min Ho’s) is a straight guy who pretends to be gay in order to become a roommate to his female friend, Park Kae In (Ye Jin’s). His hobbies include organization and ironing, and he’s known for his stoic poker face. He’s a stickler for cleanliness, but he also has a talent for figuring out a women’s feelings. Kae In is very trusting even though she has a habit of being betrayed. However that doesn’t stop her from giving people the benefit of doubt and Jin Ho is no different. How will Kae In react when she finds out that her gay roommate is not actually gay at all and that he has fallen for her? – credits Javabeans.

And to watch, on Mysoju, when it is ready.

Trailers:

I seriously wonder how people in Korea are going to choose which drama to watch lah. Haha~ But I will definitely have no problem at all. Wait till exams are over, then ALL OUT –  first in line would be Oh! My Lady, Prosecutor Princess, then Personal Taste and finally Cinderella’s Sister. Oh! My Lady and Prosecutor Princess is definitely a MUST, but the other 2 will depend on varying factors, especially if Javabeans is doing the recap of episodes then can see whether it will be worth it or not. At the same time ‘quench’ my thirst for dramas. Haha~

Prosecutor Princess

Also known as 검사 프린세스.

Premiering on 31 March 2010, on SBS, Wednesdays and Thursdays on 21:55.

This stars Kim So Yeon 김소연 – woohoo! -, Park Shi Hoo 박시후, Han Jung Soo 한정수, and Choi Song Hyun 최송현.

Ma Hye-ri (So Yeon’s) is a prosecutor without much sense of duty who prefers to go shopping, while Seo In-woo (Shi Woo) is a cool lawyer. In-woo is a character who swoops in to help Hye-ri whenever she’s facing danger, but whose true intentions remain hidden; he is described as “mysterious” and will make audiences wonder if he’s a bad guy (or at least a sneaky one) after all. Yoon Se-Joon (Jung-soo’s) is a top prosecutor who fills out the love triangle.

Prosecutor Princess will incorporate a good amount of legal speak, but its PD assures viewers that the drama will focus more on keeping a bright and light vibe, rather than getting bogged down in heavy drama. – credits to Javabeans

The drama summary, here.

To watch, at Mysoju, when it is ready.

Trailer:

I can’t wait for this drama as I love Kim So Yeon in Iris, but I’ll have to wait for after my exams. *sighs* Then I’ll go out for it. Especially since she is acting as a prosecutor, same like my line of studies. Haha~

Cinderella’s Sister

Also known as Cinderella Unni or 신데렐라 언니.

Premiering on 31 March, Wednesdays and Thursdays on KBS2 at 21:55.

Starring Moon Geun Young 근영 , Seo Woo 서우, Chun Jung Myung 천정명 and Taecyeon 택연 of 2pm.

This a drama with a modern twist, and the twist is far from the original classic story that I think most girls loved as a little child.

The drama is where Cinderella (Geun Young’s) is loved by her stepmother while her stepsister (Seo Woo’s) is not loved by her own mother at all. And so, the stepsister then takes revenge on Cinderella for all the years that she has suffered.

Or from what I understand.

And to watch, in Mysoju, when it is ready.

Trailers:

Although not much can really be deduced from these.

As usual, I should only be watching this when exams are over.*sighs*

A new drama also known as 오! 마이 레이디.

This starts airing today, 22 March 2010, on SBS channel, every Mondays and Tuesdays, at 20:55.

Staring Chae Rim 채림, Choi Si Won 최시원 – YES, of SUPER JUNIOR – , Lee Hyun Woo 이현우 and Park Han Byul 박한별.

Drama summary, here.

To watch, Mysoju and Vikii, which should be soon.

Preview:

This is looking good, but I don’t have any time to watch drama at all, so have to bear with the occasional episodes when I have the time. Oh~ and apparently, Si Won’s character is that he is a lousy actor and he needs ‘something’ to help him.

Stars Falling From The Sky

Or also known as Wish Upon A Star or 별을 따다 줘.

This drama started airing on 4th January and completed on 16th March. On channel SBS, Mondays and Tuesdays at 20.55 Korean time.

Starring Choi Jung Won 최정원,  Kim Ji Hoon 김지훈, Shin Dong Wook 신동욱 and Chae Young In 채영인.

The drama revolves around Pal Gang (Jung Won’s) – an insurance agent in a huge insurance company, Kang Ha (Ji Hoon’s) – the company lawyer, with his younger brother – Joon Ha (Dong Wook’s) – someone working in the company, and Jae Young (Young In’s) – granddaughter of the owner of the insurance company. And so, the typical love triangle – or square(??).

The drama summary, here.

To watch, on Vikii or Mysoju.

The preview:

I did not actually watch the whole drama but have been following the episodes summaries on Javabeans. And I got addicted, so I watched the last few episodes and will probably start from the beginning when it is out, either in DVD form or when someone has downloaded it. Hehe~ This is one awesome drama, and I will definitely recommend it.
